Exam Information
NH Gasfitters will contact you after we receive your application to confirm your exam date after 4 PM Monday - Friday and 9 AM - 5 PM on the weekends.
Below is a list of things you need for the exam when you are at the secured exam location
A copy of your driver’s license
The fee is $100.00 for the exam
A 2009 NFPA 54 codebook
You have 3 hours to take the exam
The exam is 100 questions
The exam is an open book
You need a 70% to pass and you will be notified of your score when you have completed the exam or are timed out

All Exams are held Monday - Friday from 9 AM till 1 PM
Cell phones are not allowed in the exam room
A calculator is permitted
If you are successful passing the exam I will mail you the certificate to you at the address listed on the application.

Your qualifications for Licensure is determined by the NH Fire Marshal's Office!
NH Gasfitters suggest you contact the Fire Marshal's office for approval before submitting your application for any exam to see if you qualify for the exam you would like to take.
